The 11th Annual Mix LA Open
A charity golf tournament benefiting programs of the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio
It was another beautiful day at Malibu Country Club as the audio industry came to play at the 11th Annual Mix LA Open and support the causes of the Mix Foundation.
First place honors went to The Village team (Cort McCown, Charlie Bidwell, Len Kay and Chris Rossasen) with a score of 56. Second place went to Team Ed Cherney (headed by honorary chairman, Ed Cherney, Chuck Cherney, Brian Adelman and Charlie MacDonald) with a score of 58, followed by third place finishers (and first-time players) Document Room (JT Meskiel, Alex Yango, CJ DeVillar and Kevin Bosley) with a score of 60.
Closest to the Pin honors went to Gabe Whyel. Craig Rovello won the Longest Drive contest and Chris Rossasen walked away with the Longest Putt Award. The putting contest was won by Kristian Pedregon. The chipping contest, sponsored by Quantegy, was won by Ryan Andrews.
Our generous sponsors (below) supported the tournament with proceeds once again going to the House Ear Institutes Sound Partner program (www.hei.org) and Sound Art LA.
